At SRS India 2026 in New Delhi (October 2–4, 2026), Jingfeng Medical, in partnership with local collaborators, officially launched India's first single-port surgical robot—Jingfeng® SP1000—ushering in the era of single-incision robotic surgery in the country. The launch was marked by a high-profile unveiling ceremony attended by five internationally renowned surgeons. The SP1000, designed for minimal invasiveness, faster recovery, and scar reduction, shares the same surgeon console and imaging system as Jingfeng's multi-port platform, enabling cost-efficient adoption and rapid learning for surgeons.
Alongside the debut, Jingfeng showcased live surgeries, academic presentations, and received acclaim for its remote surgery capabilities—including validation from Dr. Sulaiman Almazeedi, lead surgeon of the Guinness World Record-certified longest-distance remote surgery, which achieved stable latency under 200ms over 12,000 km using Jingfeng's system.
Following the installation of India's first Jingfeng multi-port robot in May 2026, this launch accelerates Jingfeng's commercial expansion and ecosystem development in the Indian market.
